Work & School

I attended highschool at Lumpkin County High School and graduated in May of 2025. I currently attend University of North Georgia at the Dahlonega Campus and am majoring in nursing! I plan to graduate from UNG in May 2029.

I currently work at Pinetree Recreation Center in Dahlonega, Georgia, where I have many roles, including: Front Desk Attendant, Hospitality Supervisor, Water Safety Instructor, Deep Water Certified Lifeguard, Lifeguard Supervisor, and Certified Lifeguard Instructor. I’ve worked here since May of 2024, gradually gaining responsibilities and experience. My main role is Lifeguard Supervisor, where I am constantly on deck during our waterpark operations, making sure that our entire lifeguard staff is equipped and rescue ready, enforcing rules to keep everyone safe, maintaining safe chemical levels, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. In addition, I also train all of our lifeguards, teaching and correcting them through the Red Cross Lifeguarding Class, frequent inservice trainings, and safety audits; all of which are extremely important for Red Cross lifeguarding standards. I am also a Water Safety Instructor, and am in charge of the 7-week summer swim lessons program. I assist in classes when needed, help with registration, organize classes, and provide instructors with any necessary information to be successful in teaching their small groups. In addition to working at PRC, I also teach swim lessons privately in neighborhoods, providing one-on-one corrections and personalized lesson plans for each child. I have been working in an aquatics setting for 6 consecutive summers, and am very knowledgeable in the world of swimming and swimming lessons, with experience teaching ages 2-18.

Life

Outside of school and work, I love hanging out with my friends. I live with my boyfriend, Wes, his younger sister, Kate, and her boyfriend, Blake. We have a house together that we rent and enjoy sitting outside on the porch, swimming in the river, driving our Polaris on trails, and playing with our new 3-month-old golden doodle, Colt. Kate and I spend lots of time around the house, as we both have multiple online classes, and do frequent study sessions together. I enjoy doing research online, and love finding new projects to work on.
